He was predeceased by: his father Ricardo Perez; and his sisters, Ana and Iris. He is survived by: his mother Rufina Deida; his wife Lillian Torres; his children, Rosa Perez, Alex Perez, Joseph Perez and Cindia Perez (Nilson Fernandez); his grandchildren, Angel Torres, Jordan Perez, Brianna, Brandon and Brittney Fernandez; and his siblings, Maria, Jose, Eva, Teresa, Loli, Ruben, Heriberto, Wilfredo, Nilda, Cori and Archie.
