He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Jone Scott and Jessie Lee Scott; and his sisters, Mary Edwards, Joyce Jones and Janet Scott.
He is survived by: his brothers, Harry and Ronnie Scott; his wife Mary Ashton; his daughters, Monique McPharson, Sharon Kamp, Almetris Wade and Latasha Wade; his stepmother Mattie Scott of Hamilton, VA.; his siblings, Lawrence Scott (Tick) of Paterson, NJ, Alton Scott (Tabitha), Luther Scott, Jimmy Scott (Nitka) of Hamilton, VA., Rosa Scott (Boo Cat) of Prospect, VA, Martha Scott of Philadelphia, PA, Pearl Scott of Atlanta, GA, Peggy Scott, Sandy Lee and Latasha Scott; his aunt Sadie Walker of Prospect, VA.; his granddaughter Sanai Sams of Paterson, NJ.; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra Scott of Prospect, VA and Linda Fairley of Paterson, NJ. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
