He was predeceased by: his parents, Berardino LaPorta and Antoinette LaPorta; and his brother Joseph LaPorta. He is survived by: his siblings, Bernie LaPorta and Virginia Grosso of North Haledon; his niece Gina LaPorta; and also, Giavanni and Damon LaPorta.
