He was predeceased by: his brother Salvatore (Salvatrice Gulino); and his parents, Francesco Furnari and Giovanna Furnari. He is survived by: his spouse Bianca Furnari; his children, Joann Valentina Carfi (late Raffaele) of Totowa, NJ and Frank Mario Furnari (Monique); his grandchildren, Adele Marie Cuesta (John), Claudia Bianca McGlinn (Brion), Peter Mariano Carfi (Rita Modzelewski), Gianna Michelle Furnari and Frankie Mario Furnari; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Noelle, Colette Lauren and Camille Renée. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
