She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson Sr. and Lula Mitchell Jackson; her husband James William Gagum; and her siblings, Edna Worth, Teddy Jackson, Wilber Jackson, Manny Jackson, Row Jackson, Danny Jackson, Redick Jackson and Buddy Jackson.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Gagum and Jimmie Gagum (Leah Gagum); her grandchildren, Nina Spain, Jimmie Gagum Jr., Markus Gagum and Leahnette Gagum; her great grandchild Mazi Gagum; and her sisters-in-law, Emily Jackson, Shirley Jackson and Yank Jackson.
