He was predeceased by: his sibling James. He is survived by: his spouse Margaret Schiavo of Paterson; his children, Joseph Schiavo Jr. of West Milford, Anthony Schiavo (Edie) of Wayne and Andrew Schiavo; his grandchildren, Michael and Christopher (Yashira); his great grandchildren, Kayla and Joseph; and his siblings, Andrew, Alfred, Antoinette, Mary and Yolanda.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Passaic Valley Hospice, 783 Riverview Drive, Totowa, NJ 07512 would be appreciated.
