He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Louise Mackey; his wife Emma McPherson; his father Joseph McPherson Sr.; and his brothers, Thomas Mackey, David Johnson Sr. and Todd Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Khali Jenkins-McPherson, Kirk Stevenson, Darryl Adrain McPherson, Tamerria McPherson, Shawn McClam and Dawn McClam; his siblings, Matthew Cheirs, Charles Cheirs, Darryl Johnson, Elwood Johnson, James Johnson, Andrea Cotton, Alicia Johnson and Mellissia Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Randall Cotton and Josie Cheirs; and his brothers, Thel Thomas Walker and Kenneth Burke. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends.
