It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jose Valentin of Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Jose is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jose's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Consuelo Valentin and Eduardo Valentin. He is survived by: his wife Sonia Valentin; his son Adrian Valentin; and his siblings, Nancy Valentin, Eduardo Valentin and Ascenet Valentin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martinez Memorial (747 Market St, Paterson, NJ 07513-1240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. John Cathedral (381 Grand St, Paterson, NJ 07505). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery (200 McLean Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07504).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in memory of Jose Valentin.
