It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T. Eason Sr. (Paterson, New Jersey), born in Rich Square, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his spouse Caroline Marie (Williams); and his son Cornelius Nehemiah. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kim Thomas; his son-in-law Craig Thomas of Elkton; his aunts, Georgiana McKnight of Washington, DC and Johnnie Mae Johnson of Queens, NY; his granddaughters, Aisha, Desire, Melanie, Talia and Kaylei; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Matthew. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
