He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Mae Megahey of Bloomingdale; his child Nicholas De Grote (Renee) of Totowa; his grandchildren, Jami DeGrote of Totowa and Anthony DeGrote of Totowa; and his siblings, Mary Kreheley, Maureen Gonzales and Geri Servidio. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and his faithful companion.
