With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Fisher Jr. of Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on May 19, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fisher and Jane Bailey Fisher; his wife Doris Posey Fisher; his sister Ruth Fisher Jenkusky; and his brother-in-law Andrew Jenkusky.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanne Fisher, John Phillip Fisher, Anne Fisher Kraintz (John) and Barbara Fisher Kayton (Andrew); his grandchildren, Patrick Kraintz and Megan Kraintz; his nephew Andrew "Drew" Jenkusky; his niece Deborah Jenkusky Beagan; and his extended family, Cornelis, Jelle and Carolien Visser.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Mission Church of Paramus, or WXXI Public Broadcasting.
