He was predeceased by: his parents, Jefferson S. Woodcox and Lena Emily Woodcox (Kecherson); his brothers, Robert Woodcox and John Vanderburg; and his half-sister Agnes.

He is survived by: his wife Louise; and his children, Cherylynn Johnston, Greg C. and Mark A. He is also survived by grandchildren and eleven adoring great grandchildren.
