He was predeceased by: his parents, David Moore and Earlease Moore; his former spouse Estell McCaskill; his wife Alice Moore (Ramsey); and his siblings, Billy Moore, Robert Moore, Lewis Moore, Johnnie Mae McQueen and Mattie Lee Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Jack E. Moore Jr. of Union City, NJ, Kim Murphy (Tony) of Paterson, NJ, Terry Reed of Bloomfield, NJ, Benjy Moore of Basking Ridge, NJ, Lenny Moore (Vanessa) of Paterson, NJ and Dena Silver (John) of Paterson, NJ; his grandchildren, Tony Murphy, Kareem Gray, Benjy Moore Jr., Toney Murphy, Tonysha Reed, Jonte Silver, Kenya Moore, Jahod Silver and Korey Moore; his great grandchildren, Ayden Moore, Omari Thomas, Kareem Gray Jr. and Kyla Gray; his siblings, Alphonso Bernard Moore, Evelyn Jones, Opal Wright (Howard) of Alabama, Luther Moore of Texas, Juliene Pastorius (Don) of Canada, Beverly Loynes (George) of Michigan and Sallie Mae Moore of Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Moore of Georgia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
