She is survived by: her mother Bessie Brown; her husband Joel Jefferson Jr.; her son Dashawn Jefferson; her grandmother Hazel Dunn; her sister Hazel Jones; her brother-in-law Bruce Jones; her brother Anthony Brown; her parents-in-law, Mary Jefferson and Joel Jefferson; her sisters, Ewa Denard and Erica Greene; her aunt Patricia Latham; her brothers-in-law, Michael Jefferson and Jessie Jefferson; her godchildren, Shanta Jones, Aniyah Hilbert, Zamir Johnson and Kaiden Dewitt; her nieces and nephews, Patricia Jones, Shanta Jones, Jasmine Sims, Kaleon Riddick, Bruce Jones Jr., Jamal Brown, Jamil Brown and Unique Brown; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aniyah Hilbert, Alannah Venable, A'Zaria Simmons, Zamir Johnson, Kaiden Dewitt and Messiah Brown.
