She is survived by: her children, DaShantila "DeeDee" Thomas (Tony) of Paterson, NJ and Randolph "Randy" Blue of Augusta, GA; her foster daughter Dorethea "Evette" Hartwill of Paterson, NJ; her siblings, Audrey Shearin of Richmond, VA, Brenda Simmons of Wilmington, NC, Diana Shearin-Wise (Robert) of Durham, NC and Sergeant James Shearin of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Reames, Elijah Thomas, Jacquiese Bacote, Damier Blue, Isaiah Baldwin, Ashanay Baldwin and Isaac Blue; her great grandchildren, Jahaad Mattiex, Tamia Mattiex, Tyler Mattiex, Skylar Gaston, Ryhiem Gaston, Jr. and Bryson Gillespie; her friends, Charlene Witherspoon, Bertha Taylor and Renee Hodges-Hopson; her cousin Anna "Weeza" Harden; and her godchildren, Rajahn Mason, Zakiyyah Mason, Beverly Kirkland and Host.
