She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Beard and Phillip Beard; and her siblings, Howard Beard, Gerard Beard and Sylvia Beard.

She is survived by: her husband Howard T. Jones; her daughter Elizabeth Beard-Jones; her grandchildren, Azaget Johnson and Se'Maj Chappell; her siblings, Evelyn Johnson, Jeffery Beard, Rosemary Herbert, Victor Beard, Carl Beard and Gloria Martin; her friend Sister Delores Lindsay; and her sisters, Julia Edwards, Sister Claudette of Washington and Patricia Boyce. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, devoted friends and neighbors.

Due to Covid-19, Face Masks are required when entering the Bragg Funeral Home.
