He is survived by: his wife Edwina J. Carrington; his children, Sean Massenburg (Kia) of South Boston, Virginia, Edward Charles Carrington III of Lawrence and Courtney Marie Carrington of Boston, Massachusetts; his granddaughter Yazmin Shamia Massenburg of South Boston, Virginia.; his brother Ronald Carrington (Alicia) of South Boston, Virginia; his niece Brittany Williams; his aunt Juanita Torian of Alexandria, Virginia; and his parents-in-law, Ann Carrington, Darrellin Daniels (Vernon Bracey), Joel Daniels (Jannette) and Beth Daniels. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other beloved relatives.
