He is survived by: his niece Deborah Harris-Smith; his nephews, Michael and Kenneth Matthews; his siblings, Vivian Matthews, John McCaskill and Jesse McCaskill; his daughters, Mickey Lavelle Gathings of Charlotte, NC and Nikki Lynell George of Midland, NC; the parent of his children Loria Gathings; his son-in-law Maurice George; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nigel, Jovania, Marshall Major and Jania George; and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Isla George. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, caretakers and friends.
