She was predeceased by: her mother Helen Van Riper. She is survived by: her father Harold Vincent Van Riper; her siblings, Monica Poitier (DaWayne Brashear) and Vincent C. Van Riper; her nephew Jayvon Jones; her niece Angelique Jones; and her great-niece Chelsea Watson. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
