She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Avallone and Domenica Avallone; and her sisters, Mary of Vermont and Ceil Cerbo. She is survived by: her husband Andrew S. Vita; her children, Anthony (Diane), Andrew S. Vita Jr. (Kathleen), Cathy Bruno (Robert) and Rosanne Nahass (Ronald); and her brother Stephen Avallone (Theresa). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Par-Troy Funeral Home (95 Parsippany Rd, Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ 07054). A Mass was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Saint Catherine of Siena R. C. Church (10 N Pocono Rd, Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046). A committal service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Saint Mary's Cemetery.
