With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles H Messenger of Paterson, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Messenger; his children, Charlie Messenger (Arlene), Mark Messenger and Johnny Messenger; his grandchildren, Kayleigh Messenger, Charles Messenger III and Joseph Messenger; and his sister Janet Graniere. He was also cherished by 3 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
