She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Alvarez; and her brother Alfonso Betancourt. She is survived by: her children, Juan Alvarez and Sandra Alvarez (Michael J. Donald); and her sister Angelica Beatriz Betancourt Diaz. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
