She was predeceased by: her husband Bernardo Miyasato; and her brothers, Fernando Figueroa and Felix Figueroa. She is survived by: her sons, Edward Miyasato and James Miyasato (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Ashton, Ysamo and Steven; her siblings, Nelly Soto, Lyta Soto, Rosa Figueroa, Lucho Figueroa, Carlos Figueroa, Hugo Figueroa, Catalina Naveros, Georgina Figueroa and Orminda Figueroa; and her sister-in-law Elena Miyasato. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
