She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tadeusz Kania and Zofia Kania (Gusciora); her husband Robert; her daughters, Danielle (Kevin Cordova) and Lauren Hicks; her grandson Jackson Cordova; and her siblings, Regina Mazurkiewicz, Jerzy and Bogusław. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey in honor of Zofia.
