He is survived by: his siblings, Anna, Thomas, Mabel, Richard and Gaylynn; his wife Judy Short-Curtis of Passaic; and his sons, Carl Sams (Nikki) of Bogota and Corey Short (Jacqueline) of Manhattan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
