He was predeceased by: his siblings, Nina and Nykola. He is survived by: his children, Christina (Iwanik) and Vasil Jancew, Jr.; his children-in-law, Christopher Iwanik and Melissa (Lelo); his grandchildren, Gregory, Tatyana Iwanik and Ryan Jancew; his sisters, Anna (Chacon) and Vera; and his nieces and nephews, Lana Chacon, Zina Chacon, Fidel Chacon, Alina Jancew and Andrei Jancew.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks friends to consider donating in Vasil's memory directly to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic School, 223 President Street, Passaic, New Jersey 07055. All donations will go directly towards educational programs and student activities.
