He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Kearney and Early Bird Kearney. He is survived by: his wife Jeannine Curtis Sims (Penny); his children, Jerome Jones, Danielle C and Brittany A. Curtis; his siblings, Lawrence Herbert (Rosa), Robert Kearney, Leroy Crawford (Frona), Rhonda Sims Carter (Harvey) and Wilhelmina Alston; and his nieces and nephews, Andrea, Melody Sims, Octavia Kearney, Alex Carter Best, Harvey Carter, Walter Smith and Timothy DuWhite. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in laws, cousins and friends.
