She was predeceased by: her husband John H. Powell; her parents, Manuel Ortiz and Marta Ortiz; and her sister Alejandrina Ondina Ortiz. She is survived by: her son Manuel A. Fuentes (Ana); her granddaughters, Odette Coronel (Noel), Giselle Buttler (Christian) and Yameil Nuñez (Gilberto); and her great grandchildren, Noelani Coronel, Michael Manuel Santos, Olivia Coronel, Noel Coronel, Mia Buttler, Nicholas Jordan Santos and Lia Buttler.
