She is survived by: her daughter Robin Louise Chalmers; her grandson Charles Chalmers; her siblings, Carrie Ballou, Katie Smith, Adele West, Daniel, James, John and Ernest West; her son-in-law Sandford Ogletree; her children, James Chalmers Jr., Vernita Ogletree of Passaic Park, NJ, Gloria Chalmers Fleming (Gary) of Clifton, NJ, Karen Singh (Sukhjinder) of Passaic, NJ, Kenneth Chalmers (Carnita) of North Haledon, NJ and Shelida Griffin (Marshal) of Wendell, NC; her siblings-in-law, Clarence Chalmers, Agatha Chalmers and Carey Hodge; her nieces, April Duncan and Sandra Lee Ballou; and her cousin Jiles Ship. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
