It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam L. Banks (Passaic, New Jersey), who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Mann and Thomas Mann Sr. of Passaic, NJ.; her siblings, Raymond Sr., Teddy Mann and Thomasina; her daughter Nichelle Alexander; and her godson Theodore Jefferson.
She is survived by: her significant other Edward Carlos; her children, Angela, Robin, Walter Banks (Adrianna), Nathaniel, Crystal Thompson (Curran), Czarina and Marcia Stewart; her grandchildren, Nicole, Ebony, William, Ashley, Ivory, Norma, Havee, David, Amaya, Diamond, Chardonay, Xavier, Francelis and Yohenriy; her siblings, Tommy Birks, Walter, Frank, Theordore Mann, Kim Ortiz (Al), Sarah Mann-Marin (Pedro) and Ann Mann; her godchildren, William J., Theresa M., Jessica B. and Patricia S.; her aunts, Mary Glover and Mary Sanderlin; her cousins, Norma Sanderlin and Irene Hill; and her sister-in-law Joan McCoy (Veronica Harris). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren.
