He was predeceased by: his mother Hilda Velez. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda L. Velez-Passaic, Jenny Garcia-Passaic, Noor and Miranda Mercedes; his father Angel; and his siblings, Janet Velez (Passaic), Alma Velez- of Florida, Nancy Carmona (Passaic) and Kelvin Velez. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
