He was predeceased by: his wife Viera; his granddaughter Annabelle; his sister Nina Jaruczyk; and his parents, Basil Leonovich and Sofia Leonovich.
He is survived by: his children, John Leonovich (Oksana), Nancy L. Berkebile (David), Ruth A. Ross (Timothy) and Daniel Leonovich (Marina); his grandchildren, Alexander, Diana, Charles, Emily, Benjamin, Joshua, Christina, Zachary, Aaron and James; and his siblings, Peter Leonovich, Tatiana Telesh and Ana Sieruk.
