John Harboy Obituary

PASSAIC, A Funeral service will be held for John Harboy, 69, of 67 Hope Avenue who died yesterday at General hospital. He was a retired attendant at Beth Israel hospital, Passaic. Born in Ukraine, he came to this country as a boy and had lived since in Passaic. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary, his son, John Harboy Jr., WWII, his sister, Mary Hitchuk and his mother, Katherine “Julia” Filon. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Stanley (Stella) Rys and Mrs. Charles (Helen) Werling, both of Clifton; two sons, George, of Fair Lawn and Stephen of Clifton; five sisters Mrs. Olga (John) Sedlock, Mrs. Lucille (Fred) Fischer, Mrs. Jennie (Stephen) Maluda, all of Clifton; Mrs. Helen (Michael) Savitch of Long Island and Mrs. Victoria (Fritz) Schulze of Boonton. And four grandchildren. Funeral Services from the
McNerney-Burnadz Memorial Home, 371 Lakeview Ave., Clifton on Monday at 8:30 a.m. and St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 9. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery. Visiting hours Sat. 3-5, 7-10 p.m., Sun. 2-5, 17-10 p.m. Parastas Sun. 7:30 p.m.
