It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joey Douglas (Passaic, New Jersey), born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Douglas; and his nephew Bryce Daniel. He is survived by: his siblings, Joyce Dubose (Woodrow) of Passaic Park, NJ, Constance Norman of Paterson, NJ, Ursula Bennett (James) of Virginia Beach, VA, Terrence Douglas of Passaic Park, NJ and Dwayne Daniels of Passaic Park, NJ; his great-aunt Annie White Kindred; his aunts, Archie Lyons (George) of Suffolk, VA and Beulah Bailey of Suffolk, VA; his nieces, LaQuanda Douglas Barbosa (Manuel) of Easton, PA, TyKeisha Jones of Bloomfield, NJ, Sabrina, Salina Watson of Passaic Park, NJ, Ruthy Watson of Richmond, VA and Alisha Watson of North Bergen, NJ; his nephew Terrence "TJ" Douglas of Easton, PA; and his cousin Yvette Rivera of Paterson, NJ. He is also survived by 3 grand-nieces, 7 grand-nephews and 1 great-niece.

Joey faithfully attended church until COVID 19 affected his ability to physically be in the House of God, but that didn't stop his worship.
