He is survived by: his wife Brenna Carnegie Rizzardi; his daughters, Wyvonna I. McCollum, Nyree McCollum Twyman (Nabil) and Jalisa D. McCollum; his former spouse Marion Lightner McCollum; his grandchildren, Nabil, Jr., Niala and Nia; and his siblings, Joyce Schuyler, Patricia Austin, Robert McCollum (Casey), Pearl Lee Moroise (Anthony), Sylvester McCollum (Melanie Seldon), Jeanette McCollum and Mary Whittaker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
