He was predeceased by: his father Willie Bland; his grandparents, George and Bernice Ervin (Bee); his aunts and uncles, Georgia Jackson, Shirley Ervin, Herman and Vernon Ervin; and his siblings, Lisa, Felicia Ervin and Patrick Ervin.
He is survived by: his mother Lavern Ervin of Hackensack, N. J.; his children, Najee Bell, Shani Bell of Pennsylvania, Erica Hines, Kianna Ervin and Jaylissa Ortiz of Paterson, N. J.; his uncle Theodore Ervin; and his aunts, Ruth Ervin and Wanda Byrd. He is also survived by nieces', nephews and cousins.
