Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lassiter and Esther Odom; and his brothers, Hakeem Muhammad and Jerome Lassiter. He is survived by: his brothers, Timothy Lassiter of Kinston, NC and Charles Lassiter of Paterson, NJ; and his stepfather Andrew Hill of Pamplin Virginia. He is also survived by three aunts, four uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carnie P. Bragg Funeral Home - Paterson (256 Rosa Parks Blvd, Paterson, NJ 07501). A burial was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Arlington Cemetery (748 Schuyler Ave, Kearny, NJ 07032).
