He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezekiah Griggs Sr. and Gloria Armstrong; his son Hezekiah Griggs III; and his stepfather Rev. James D. Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his daughters, Shakeis Williams of Passaic, Shafon Griggs-Bullard (Willie) of Atlanta, GA, Shannell Griggs, Paris, London and Kobe; his siblings, Robin Dawkins-Khan (Gul) of East Hartford, CT, Rene Griggs of Passaic, Michelle Griggs (Eric) of New Britain, CT and Arthur Griggs (Millie) of Blytheville, AK; his godson Ashley Griggs of Passaic; and his children, Kahliia and Jaleel Boyce of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
