He is survived by: his children, Anna Barry (Christopher) of Millington, NJ, Heinz Hentschel of Belleville, MI and Kathleen Hentschel (Thomas Watts) of Sparrowbush, NY.; his grandchildren, Erin and Christopher; and his sister Gertrude Reiman of Germany.
