He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Edwards Kendrick and George Allen Kendrick; and his stepfather Henry Harmon. He is survived by: his siblings, Elliot (Martin), Debra and Joyce; his niece Shana; his nephews, Ameka and Chike; his uncle Curtis Edwards (Gwen); his aunt Annie Young; his close friends, Jimmy Hill, Pete Rutherford, Tommy Boy McNair, Gerald Chambers, Poochie Slappy, Rev. McKinney Calvin, Charlie Mann Jr., Johnny Minute and Bunny McGriff; and his cousins, Gary Hansford, Steve Hansford, Junior DeGroat, John Edwards Nate White (Mimie), Stanley Wright, George Wright, Michael McKoy and Darren Payne. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
