She is survived by: her husband Nemesio Gomez; her children, Itzayana Gomez (Oscar Gonzalez) and Christopher Gomez (Linzy); her siblings, Jamie Reyes, Nabor Placido, Yolanda Placido, Socorro Placido, Juana Placido and Quirino Placido; and her grandchildren, Edison, Ulises, Axel, Itzamary Carmin and Xolani.
