He is survived by: his wife Olga Rodriguez; his children, Gerardo Fernandez Jr. (Irma) and Ana Fuentes (Manuel); his grandchildren, Odette Coronel (Noel), Ricardo Fernandez (Vedanira), Giselle Buttler (Christian), Yameil Nunez (Gilberto) and Jaclyn Fernandez Hrinko (Alexander); his great grandchildren, David Michael Fernandez, Jacqueline Victoria Fernandez, Noelani Coronel and Michael Manuel; his sisters, Berta Hernandez and Olga Fernandez; and also, Cuba and Spain. He is also survived by friends in the community and friends.
