He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Viani and Minnie Viani (Hoffman); his wife Blanche Lachut; his brother Allen Viani; his children, Judy, Jimmy, Sandra Minutella (Joseph) and Alan Viani; his siblings, Dennis, Gloria, Bernadette and Patricia; and his grandchildren, Robin, Stace, Robert, Sabrina, Peter, Todd, Nicole and James. He was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
