He was predeceased by: his wife Sandalia "Sayito" Cruz; his parents, Benito Cruz and Ana Soto; and his sons, Wilson Cruz and Charles Cruz.
He is survived by: his children, Ana Cruz-Gonzalez, Norma Ortiz, Margarita Williams, Andres Cruz Jr., Angel M. Cruz, Nereida Cruz, Julio Cruz, Elizabeth Cruz, Jaime Cruz and Mairim Molina. He is also survived by thirty grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews.
