He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tsilionis and Antigoni Tsilionis; and his siblings, James Tsilionis, Gus Tsilionis and Antigoni Xouri.

He is survived by: his wife Varvara Mourikis-Tsilionis; his son Thomas V. Tsilionis; his grandson Vasili T. Tsilionis; his daughter-in-law Phedra Phaedonos-Tsilionis; and his siblings, Viron Tsilionis, Elefterios Tsilionis, Stella Stilianou and Sevasti Lapa.
