He was predeceased by: his son Edward Tuers; his grandson Patrick Kennedy; and his brother Robert Tuers. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Richard Tuers (Therese) and Ann Simmons (Bruce); his grandsons, Daniel Tuers (Melissa), Gregory Tuers (Xu) and Brian Kennedy (Karina Jessica Haas); his great grandchildren, Nathan Tuers, Ezekiel Tuers, Stone Tuers, Sloan Tuers, Charles Hass and Juniper Jo Hass; and his sister Louise Nodzak.
