He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Mary; his wife Patricia; his children, John Joseph Racik, Marianne Morris (George), Michelle Stearns (Tom) and Theresa O'Brien (Dennis); his grandchildren, Sean, Morgan, Kaitlyn, Emily, J. R., Chris and John; his sister Marilyn Lategano; and his daughter-in-law Donna Racik.
