He was predeceased by: his parents, Kreszenz Karl (Lermer) and Alois Karl; his wife Waltraud "Wally" Karl (Neu); and his siblings, Alois, Heinrich, Frieda and Ludwig.
He is survived by: his sister Rosi Huber; his children, Carolin (Frank Grünberg), Sharon (Mario Parisi), Lisa (Bob Pupa), Heidi Karl and Stephen Karl (Adriana); his grandchildren, Danielle, Nicole, Kailyn, Travis, Thomas, Sebastian, Janice and Alyssa; and his great grandchildren, Tessa and Stella.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home (1012 Valley Rd, Gillette, NJ 07933). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Park Foundation or the Diabetes Foundation.
