He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Benedict and Julia Benedict; his wife Margaret M. Benedict; his daughter Cathleen M. Benedict; his brothers, Joseph Benedict and Thomas Benedict; his siblings-in-law, Gloria Benedict, Sally Benedict and George Lang; and his nephew George Lang.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Marie Jacisin (Michael) of Flanders, N. J., Barbara Nedo (Thomas) of Bangor and Jane Barracato (Michael) of Flanders; his grandchildren, James (Gabriell), Timothy (Steve Johnston), Molly Jacisin, Michaella Barracato, Melissa Barracato, Julia Barracato and Haley Nedo; and his sister Theresa Lang.
