He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Gerald Behnke III, Jarrett Behnke and Jake Behnke; his godchildren, Chloe Kelly and Najee Smith; his father Gerald Behnke "Bebop"; his sister Patricia Brinck (Bennet); his nephews, Scott and Brett; his niece Jenna; his mother-in-law Margery Cooper; his brother-in-law Michael Cooper (Sharon); his nephew Eric; his brother-in-law James Cooper; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Julia.
